MCS 3WR

The MCS 3WR damper is a 3-way adjustable suspension system with external reservoirs that allow for precise gas pressure adjustment. It features independently adjustable high-speed compression, low-speed compression, and rebound damping, giving drivers ultimate control over chassis dynamics.

High-speed compression is managed by a proprietary blow-off valve on the reservoir piston, while low-speed compression and rebound damping are finely tuned through precision-engineered orifices, delivering accurate hydraulic control and a broad adjustment range for different road conditions.

Reservoir pressure is adjustable between 6 and 18 bar via a Schrader valve, enabling fine-tuning of vehicle platform support during high-speed cornering or allowing increased weight transfer for enhanced traction in low-grip scenarios.

The monotube construction provides exceptional stability, with increased oil capacity and superior heat dissipation compared to twin-tube dampers. Large-diameter shafts ensure low-friction side-load support, while a divider piston prevents cavitation, ensuring consistent damping performance

For sustained performance in long races and street driving, remote reservoirs improve fluid temperature control and can be specified with Staubli dry-break fittings for fast, hassle-free installation and service.

Adjustability

The MCS 3WR damper is a 3-way adjustable suspension system featuring 18 clicks of high-speed compression, 10 clicks of low-speed compression, and 18 clicks of rebound adjustment. Its application-specific valving is designed to perform seamlessly with a wide range of spring rates, eliminating the need for frequent re-valving.
Each adjustment delivers clear, precise feedback, allowing for accurate and repeatable suspension tuning.

The damper is supplied with a high-performance linear piston as standard, with an optional digressive piston available for drivers seeking a different damping characteristic and greater tuning flexibility.

18 Clicks of High Speed Compression Adjustment

On the MCS 3WR damper, high-speed compression damping can be precisely adjusted with 18 distinct settings. This allows drivers to increase platform support by fine-tuning damping forces during high-speed shaft movements. By optimising this behaviour, the suspension makes better use of the mechanical contact patch, improving grip, stability.

10 Clicks of Low Speed Compression Adjustment

On the MCS 3WR damper, low-speed compression damping can be precisely adjusted with 10 distinct settings. This adjustment allows drivers to finely control vehicle pitch and roll behaviour during low-speed shaft movements, enabling balanced cornering dynamics and improved driver confidence and handling precision.

18 Clicks of Rebound Adjustment

With 18 clicks of rebound adjustment, the MCS 3WR damper allows drivers to increase spring control and finely adjust the vehicle’s handling balance. This precise tuning capability helps optimise cornering stability and weight transfer.

Gas Pressure Adjustment

Each remote reservoir on the MCS 3WR damper is fitted with a Schrader valve, providing a powerful tuning tool that allows precise adjustment of nitrogen gas pressure within the damper. By increasing or decreasing reservoir pressure, drivers can alter overall platform support to suit road conditions and driving style.
Reservoir pressure is adjustable between 6 and 18 bar, enhancing chassis stability in high-speed corners and improving weight transfer for maximum traction in low-grip conditions.
