MCS 2WNR

The MCS 2WNR damper is a 2-way adjustable suspension system engineered for fast and precise on-track tuning. Featuring an easy-access adjustment mechanism, both compression and rebound damping can be independently adjusted via a single, conveniently located knob positioned under the bonnet or in the boot for effortless changes. This design eliminates the need to lift the car and keeps you safely away from hot components during adjustments.

Damping forces are precisely controlled by MCS’s proprietary blow-off valves on the main piston, delivering greater accuracy and repeatability than traditional needle valves. The monotube construction provides excellent stability, with increased oil capacity and superior heat dissipation, while large-diameter shafts ensure low-friction side-load support. A high-response main piston combined with a divider piston keeps oil and gas separate, eliminating cavitation for smooth and predictable handling.

Technical Features
Adjuster Selection Switch

Pressing this button allows you to switch between compression and rebound positions

Compression Adjuster

Knob in “up” position controls compression damping forces.

Rebound Adjuster

Knob in “down” position controls rebound damping forces.

Adjustability

The MCS 2WNR is a 2-way adjustable damper offering 14 clicks of compression adjustment and 18 clicks of rebound control. Its integrated design houses both adjustments within the damper body, enabling independent fine-tuning via a single, easy-to-access knob, without the complexity of external reservoirs.

With application-specific valving, the 2WNR is engineered to work seamlessly with a wide range of spring rates, minimising the need for frequent re-valving. Each adjustment delivers clear, precise feedback, allowing drivers to confidently optimise suspension setup without the risk of overshooting the ideal setting.

14 Clicks of Compression Adjustment

On the MCS 2WNR damper, compression damping is easily adjusted when the knob is set to the “up” or “C” position. With 14 distinct compression settings, drivers can fine-tune platform control, optimising the vehicle’s mechanical contact patch for improved grip and faster lap times.

18 Clicks of Rebound Adjustment

On the MCS 2WNR damper, rebound damping is adjusted with the knob in the “down” or “R” position. With 18 precise rebound settings, drivers can increase spring control and finely adjust the car’s balance, achieving optimal handling performance for both road and track use.

Shaft

Also known as piston rod. Responsible for displacing fluid in the damper body to be controlled by piston assembly and adjustment mechanism. We utilize 22mm diameter shafts for strut applications and 16mm diameter for shock applications on the 2WNR damper system.

Adjuster Knob

Connected to the internal adjustment mechanism and allows the user to adjust damping forces easily.

Compression/Rebound Selector Knob

Connected to the internal adjustment mechanism. Allows user to select compression or rebound forces to be manipulated at main adjuster knob.
