MCS 1WNR

The MCS 1WNR damper is a 1-way adjustable entry-level suspension solution featuring 18 precise adjustment settings, purpose-built for track performance and easily upgradable to higher-level MCS systems. Its modular construction allows for interchangeable components, enabling seamless upgrades without purchasing a complete new setup.

Fully rebuildable and serviceable, the 1WNR can be custom-valved at any time to suit evolving driving needs. The monotube design ensures exceptional stability, with increased oil capacity and superior heat dissipation compared to traditional twin-tube dampers. Large-diameter shafts provide high, low-friction side-load support unmatched by inverted or converted strut-type shocks.

With its large main piston, the 1WNR delivers fast and precise damping response, while a divider piston separates oil and gas, preventing cavitation that can cause noise, sloppiness, and loss of control. Offering outstanding value and proven reliability.

Adjustability

The MCS 1WNR is a 1-way adjustable damper offering 18 distinct settings for precise suspension tuning. Its application-specific valving is engineered to work seamlessly with a wide range of spring rates, reducing the need for frequent re-valving. The finely tuned adjustment mechanism delivers clearly defined clicks, allowing you to make confident changes without overshooting the ideal setup.

18 Clicks of Rebound Adjustment

With 18 clicks of rebound adjustment, the MCS 1WNR allows drivers to fine-tune spring control and easily adjust the car’s balance to suit road conditions and driving style.

Each damper is built with a high-performance linear piston as standard, with an optional digressive piston available for those seeking alternative damping characteristics.

Internal Reservoir

Nitrogen Gas is stored in this compartment and allows for more usable stroke and better control of pressure across dividing piston.

Dividing Piston

Separates the gas cavity from the oil cavity.

Adjustment Mechanism

Proprietary adjustment mechanism to manipulate damping forces.

Main Piston Assembly

Generates overall valving range. Valving can be manipulated by changing the non-preloaded shim stack configuration on the compression and rebound sides of the piston.

Support Piston

Provides additional lateral support on piston end of shaft assembly.

Shaft Guide

Creates additional lateral support on shaft-end side of shaft assembly.

Shaft

Also known as piston rod. Responsible for displacing fluid in the damper body to be controlled by piston assembly and adjustment mechanism. We utilize 22mm diameter shafts for strut applications and 16mm diameter for shock applications on the 1WNR damper system.

Adjustment Knob

Connected to the internal adjustment mechanism and allows the user to adjust damping forces easily.
